Womenswear team. A key member of a fast paced and rapidly expanding multi product Womenswear team. Working on a multi product team has given me insight into several areas of buying and production that I had not previously come across. I am responsible for day to day administrative duties, including but not limited to; Costing negotiations for upcoming ranges; looking at suitable RRPs and margin, whilst ensuring we land the correct quality product in the most suitable phasing. - Supporting the Buyer and Junior Buyer with all pricing negotiations, ensuring we are profitable and adhering to margin. Overseeing our Buyer’s Admin Assistant whilst they are responsible for leading communication with offshore sourcing offices. Maintaining the critical path, running critical path meetings and ensuring all teams are informed of issue lines. Also responsible for having implemented a new, more efficient critical path format; working with all teams to create a suitable document that fulfils all needs. Attending twice weekly fit sessions with the Garment tech, Designer and Assistant Designer. Preparing for and presenting within departmental forecasting meetings. Attend post sign off ‘mop up’ meetings and ensure outcomes are actioned. Managing product- lifecycle management software with correct product details. Running an Assistant/ Admin forum across the business, liaising with other members, both existing and new, to create an environment for enrichment through guest speakers, activities and social events. Working alongside Junior buyer to create strategy packs for the wider teams. Responsible for setting up for Monday trade meetings, pulling correct samples and labelling with analysis information. Coaching our BAA in the PP/ Gold seal sampling process for retail and wholesale channels. One of the key contacts between the buying team and other teams such as Marketing and Finance. Monthly analysis of Online reviews from our website, feeding this back to all teams within the Womenswear department, including heads of Buying and Merchandising.
