About me
I am a London-based curator and researcher working within the fields of contemporary art, film and cultural studies. In 2009 I co-founded the curatorial project Mother Tongue driven by an interest in the intersection between art, design and issues of post-colonialism. Since 2009 we have curated exhibitions, film programs and discursive events for galleries, museums, film festivals and biennials. We have guest-curated for institutions and organisations in the UK, Sweden, Iceland, Finland, Canada and the Caribbean. Alongside Mother Tongue's project work, I have been undertaking doctoral research with a specialisation in cultural studies and film.
I am passionate about the creative industries and their potential to affect social change. I am a highly organised and driven person. I believe no (wo)man is an island and often feel happiest when working with others as part of a team. I love meeting new people and bringing a good attitude to any potential new work experience.
