About me
Currently working as a Print Design Assistant for Project AF, a London-based high-street supplier of womenswear fashion, I am interested in employment opportunities to further my career within textile design. My skills and attributes would be best placed in a print design role for fashion or interiors. Highly passionate for the textiles industry, I have a keen eye for trends, colour and repeat pattern. With proven commercial experience and a passion for developing my design versatility, I am confident in hand-drawing, digital design and colour separating using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and AVA. During my degree at the University of Leeds, I graduated with First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Textile Design (Industrial) and undertook an industrial placement year at Digetex, a Manchester-based print design supplier. Since graduating, I have been committed to building my career within the textiles industry, having also worked as a Print Design Assistant for Pentex Ltd., undertaken an internship at JRC London and freelanced for both Bunker Mentality and Collecting Colour. Through my experience to date, I have built upon skills in team-work, problem solving and time-management.
