Hi, I'm Jessica – a New York born, London-based photographer, creative director, and independent publisher. Over the last ten years, through photography, publishing, writing, editing, styling and creative direction, I have made work and developed projects within the intersections of art and fashion. As an aesthete, artist, trained image-maker, and communicator, I seek to more closely integrate my creative outputs with a focus on lifestyle and wellbeing. I am eager to expand the scope of my discerning eye to lead and carry out projects that encompass the wider realm of lifestyle media. My experiences in fashion communication and fine art photography have imbued me with a uniquely current perspective which I am excited to apply towards brands and companies whose values remain aligned with mine.

- VENUS PIECE"As the first edition in a series of limited edition works, amargo editions is pleased to present its inaugural publication, as well as a solo exhibition of new works by Jessica Gianelli. While addressing the legacies of Renaissance imagery, sculpture, eroticism, and objectification, the images within VENUS PIECE celebrate the liberatory nature of embodiment, self-determination, and communion."
- Les Ombres : an experimental short fashion filmLes Ombres (translated to 'the shadows') exists as an abstracted narrative exploring the complexities of identity. Looking at the inherent duality of humanity, it considers the notion of feeling like an outsider in one’s own body; the journey that we embark on to find ourselves, and which versions we might meet along the way. From the light to the dark, Les Ombres looks at aesthetic notes of colour, shape, light and shadow to embark on an evocative journey of self-discovery.
- All Surrendered: In Conversation with Fenn O'MeallyFor PETRIE Inventory's December online issue which explored the notion of intensity as feature of contemporary life, I interviewed filmmaker and journalist Fenn O'Meally, exploring the intensity of her various roles and how they all might come together in her creative practice to present her own unique narrative.
