Included a 12 000 word dissertation entitled '"When the Fox Hears the Rabbit Scream": Fear, Fascination and the Psychopath in Post-War American Fiction'. I know what truly grabs an audience and both the content of my dissertation and my choice of topic proves this. I researched real-life cases of psychopaths and applied what I found to the novels I had chosen. Through this I evaluated the position of psychopaths in today's culture. It was an exciting dissertation that I can proudly say I never once lost interest in.
