I was promoted to Marketing Executive, having taken initiative with our company's social media, blog and site content and events alongside my role in PR. My responsibilities include:
- Managing social media pages for Kaizen (Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin); growing and monitoring our social media following organically
- Organising and overseeing company events, ranging from roundtables to large scale
- Organising and overseeing blog content; ensuring a high standard of writing, research and meta data
- Winning reactive PR placements for our content; building relationships with journalists and gaining online coverage
- Researching and writing awards entries for Kaizen
- Creating monthly reports on all marketing activity using Google Analytics data

I spent 6 months in Los Angeles as part of a Study Abroad programme at my university in 2016. Completely on my own and half way across the world, I had a crash course in what it's like to be well outside my comfort zone but made some incredible friends and memories there. Living abroad has given me an even greater desire to travel and experience new places and positions, and given me a great deal of confidence in my own abilities.

I chose to study at KCL, not only because it's a great university with an excellent English course, but also to be able to live and study in the centre of London. Doing so led me to find part-time work at Somerset House, and internships in Piccadilly and Covent Garden, and the more I travel the more I realise how amazing London is as a city, and a place to work.
