Big Sofa is a video analytics company, helping the worlds biggest brands use video to analyse human behaviour.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, we are a team of 2 so I get involved in all aspects of marketing including:
-Content creation - creating content for internal and external campaigns, as well as creating content as client deliverables (e.g. project showcases)
- Product Marketing - working closely with the Product team to devise strategies around launching new product features and raising awareness around existing, underutilised features.
- Email Marketing - running all email marketing campaigns, from devising the strategy to writing the emails and designing how they will look and using data to inform and optimise future email campaigns
- Website management - I am in charge of our website, initially working with an agency and the Head of Marketing to create the current design, I now maintain the website using a CMS and Hubspot.
- Video production - I help manage a team of 4 video editors who create marketing content for Big Sofa and also create output films for clients. I am involved in the storyboarding of films and manage the client relationship.

Writing needed to be of a mature and eloquent level. The course was linked to current and past political affairs, meaning a good knowledge and understanding of the contemporary world arena and its composition was essential.
