Hello! I’m Jess. I am a focused & dedicated Junior Graphic Designer with 2 years of experience in creating engaging and innovative digital and print designs for clients in broad range of industries. I studied Graphic Design at UWE & have been freelancing ever since. My main focus is connecting the gap between design and art and more specifically giving creative work life, character and essence, through conceptual thought and artistic strength. This allows my work to transmit an all important humanistic & artistic approach. My work primarily involves print & digital design, typography and illustration. I have strong illustration skills that compliment & bring life to my Graphic Design.
Projects
- FRANKS VINTAGEFranks has a distinct eye for beautiful, one off vintage furnishings. Located in Old Market, Bristol, this store features mid century modern, sort after and beautiful interior pieces. The brand identity takes references from the detail and minimalism often found in vintage furnishings. Developing a colour palette that plays with primary colours, mixed with illustration and a simple clean typeface gives a brand identity that feels fun but considered.
- BLEACHEDThis project is an exciting exploration of “coral reefs” and the threats to the survival of these iconic ecosystems through a collaboration of art and science. The members of Vulgar Earth in collaboration with the University of Southampton will explore the key scientific messages in creative, challenging and innovative ways to engage, inform and to stimulate debate and action with a diverse audience.
