Jessie graduated from Massey University in 2014 with an Honours Design Degree. She majored in Visual Communication Design and specialised in Illustration. Jessie is currently represented by the Sandra Morris Illustration Agency but is currently looking for a full-time role in the creative industry here in the UK. Though she was born in Oxford (UK) Jessie spent the majority of her childhood and studying years in Wellington, New Zealand. She is a hard-working, passionate and honest person who loves learning new skills. She brings to the table a wealth of experience from various jobs including design, communications, administration, event organising, childcare, hospitality and retail.
Projects
  • WW1
WW1Captain Keith Logan Caldwell was one of the most noted NZ WW1 pilots. He was known for his great flying ability and much like a fantail he was able to dart quickly through the air. The fantail pilot painted below is not just representative of Caldwell but of all the New Zealand pilots and the service they provided to their country in WW1 by putting New Zealand on the map and helping to build our country an identity in the skies of Europe.
  • Window Shoppers
Window ShoppersWindow Shoppers was a project we worked on with the Wellington City Police to create a campaign to try to promote more awareness around not leaving valuables in your car when you park in car parking buildings.
  • Phoenix
PhoenixPhoenix was part of a University Project to create a creature who could fit into Johnny Fraser-Allen's world of The Gloaming. I was inspired by the Greek myth of the phoenix - a magical bird which when dies is reincarnated out of its own ashes. Z-brush modeling and digital painting.

We were a small team at the FDANZ office and so my role expanded much wider than the Executive Assistant title and I held many responsibilities in the operations of the organisation. These included planning meetings, preparing board papers, organising conferences, liaising with members of the press and government departments as well as making sure the office was running smoothly.
