Hey, I’m Josephine!
Well, I’m actually not... my real name is Joana but everyone calls me Jo and some friends call me Josephine! Confusing, right?
I’m a London based creative designer with extensive experience in digital and print design across multiple platforms.
I am very passionate about what I do, I am meticulous and pay special attention
to detail. I have vast experience in brand and team management, taking briefings from start to finish and working with teams of developers, designers and marketeers.
I’ve led the design of application user interfaces for a wide range of devices, with a
comprehensive understanding of usability topics and worked extensively in print and layout design, developing core graphic and typographic skills.
I am a fast learner and highly adaptable to new environments as demonstrated by my ability to work across various design disciplines and with a variety of clients.
Projects
- Brand PartnershipsFreestyle email design, without any specific guidelines for the brand partnerships team, showcasing their work highlights for 2017. The team had no requirements at all for the elements needed so I created a new logo for “partnerships” and used the outline on the hands for the box on the header image. All the other image boxes were dynamic to keep the balance on the layout. The main colour used throughout, belongs to the agency’s colour palette.
- UKTV AppTV app designed for UKTV in 2013, for their three main channels, Dave, Really and Yesterday. At this stage, it was still a simple app, with a very intuitive interface, where the user could search by Featured, A-Z and Last Chance shows among each channel by pressing the colour coded keys on their TV remote.
- Dacia BookletThis is a A5 book created for Dacia’s sponsorship for Rugby League in 2016. Without any specific directions on what layout to use or an extended briefing, their brand guidelines were the starting inspiration. Dacia needed a quick turnaround and a quite simple layout and this booklet was created in a short time.
- Copella NewsletterFreestyle email design for Pepsi owned brand, Copella for their new apple juice launch. I was provided with imagery, copy and stats to design simple infographics that then would be embedded in the newsletter. The leaves used to frame the newsletter, resemble the Copella logo. The layout still has to comply with the agency’s brand guidelines, like using the font and still keeping it relatable to Fuse.
- ACJ PresentationAirbus Corporate Jets briefed me to create a presentation template, that could be repurposed easily and flexible enough to include images and text. Using their graphic language and colour scheme, that I had previously worked on, with the same geometric shapes either as background or as image placement, the result was a versatile and fluid template.
