With over 10 years experience in branding and fashion marketing, Jo is currently working directly with Diesel's artistic director Nicola Formichetti, responsible for the brand’s global marketing and advertising campaigns, delivering a consistent brand message across all online and offline platforms. Jo has consulted for the likes of Nike, Red Bull, Bestseller, Nokia, Grey Goose, Samsung, Diageo and Burberry, creating integrated marketing strategies, brand advocacy and events in previous roles include Managing Director at Protein®, the creative agency and media network, Former co-founder of the award-winning fashion boutique Beyond the Valley and marketing agency 'i-am' Beyond. Personal projects include acting as Practitioner in Residence at London College of Fashion and judging D&AD, Superbrands, and Coolbrands UK in her spare time.
Director of the global content and creatives teams based in Diesel's HQ in Italy. Jo has recently joined London College of Fashion as one of the new Practitioners in Residence within UAL. Working directly with the BA and MSc Fashion Management students, giving realistic insight into the current fashion industry with monthly lectures and workshops. Recent talks have included: • Fashion marketing trends • Brand messaging • Thinking Lean – agile fashion marketing • Developing campaign narratives • Omni-channel campaign execution • How to project yourself as a brand Alongside the series of lectures, Jo gives hands-on support and advice to the students as they develop their practice and build their career skills in fashion marketing & communications.

Jo co-founded Beyond the Valley in 2004 – a Soho-based fashion label & award-winning boutique for emerging British designers. Recognised as one of the UK’s top ‘cool brands’ for 5 consecutive years, Jo helped launch over 300 designers into the fashion, art & design industries. Talent included Christopher Raeburn, Ostwald Helgason, Carolyn Massey, Finsk, Jojo & Malou, Makin Jan Mar, Yuko Yoshitake and Blandine Bardeau. Additional highlights included: • Multiple pop-up stores across London and Europe • Regular parties and events through out London Fashion Week and London Design Festival • Designer collaborations • International trade shows - buying and selling • Concessions in Topshop Oxford Circus • Setting up the business with only £5k investment
