Having specialised in sculpture and also pushing my practice within design, I am a versatile maker with a great knowledge base of techniques, skills and relevant theorists and practitioners. Focusing on mark-making, macro photography, architectural tectonic structures and creating a spatial dialogue between two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms, my work spans different techniques and technologies in order to achieve outcomes that explore these ideas. I have a depth of knowledge from a historical art context (Bauhaus and Minimalism being favoured subjects), critical art and design as well as theoretical matter that looks at varying topics in architecture, visual science, art, design and metaphysics.
Lecturing primarily focused on Art and Design, Photography and Graphics.
