About me
I am looking for a role in marketing within a bright, creative and enthusiastic team. I have had excellent experience of marketing in a startup company. I learnt a lot very quickly and was trusted with tasks of great responsibility.
It is important to me that I work in a team of likeminded people who are highly motivated and passionate about the work they do.
One of my strengths is my genuine ability to connect with all types of people. I can adapt my communication to build a relationship, which I have found invaluable in my past work experiences. I have learnt that I can give confident, engaging presentations from pitches I have given to Tesco and to Unilever’s CEO. I take pride in delivering a very high level of service.

Mercer is a large international organisation that offers consultancy in wealth, health and education. I was keen to experience a finance internship to build on my strong analytical skills. I chose to work in a team within the Wealth Department, that looks to integrate environmental, social and governance issues into clients’ investment process as I am passionate about sustainability.
I am a quick learner as was shown when I joined the internship halfway through and went on to excel in my final exam. I am a self-motivated person and took it upon myself to complete the full training in my own time.
I was specifically selected to create and give a presentation on Mercer’s Responsible Investment Reports to an audience including senior Consultants. I received high praise on my presenting skills from my line manager.

Marketing and Business DevelopmentTHØR Drinks

I chose this internship as I would be working solely with the Founder therefore gaining exposure to all areas of the business.
I represented THØR Drinks at the Olympia Speciality and Fine Food Fair to generate sales to retailers and distributors. I pitched to Tesco, Morrisons and Ocado making sure that I caught their attention, gained their trust and developed a business relationship – allowing only 2 minutes for each!
I generated sales in person, on the phone and via email successfully creating new clients while also managing and upselling to existing clients. Having grown up with social media, I was in a good position to take the lead of the Company’s social media platforms for example, refining our target market by utilising a competition post on Facebook Business. I was involved in on-going discussions of future brand development as well as developing a significant online funding campaign. Other creative responsibilities included the design of various point of sale items.
