My role is to ensure the smooth running of the office every day, whilst acting as a link between Accounts Mangers and Production team. I enjoy the diversity of the job which requires you to act ad hoc and use your judgement as much as to be able to follow instructions and keep impeccable time management. I particularly enjoy being the first point of communication with clients contacting our office, dealing with colleagues and enquiries on a daily basis, being constantly communicative and happy-to-help is my approach to work. Main Duties in London included: • Liaising with clients, acting as a bridge between office and workshop; • Bookkeeping, invoicing, reporting sales & costs, VAT return – Excel and Sage Act; • Handling phones, meeting & greeting visits to the office; • Ordering supplies, managing daily maintenance of work area • Type (and type some more!) emails, letters, communications and reports • Single-handled managing jobs from order to delivery • Archiving, filing and keeping records
As part of a small, fantastic, team with the largest number of creative material entered for, we worked a lot of late nights and weekends and saw all work done. I got invited, based on performance, to join the restricted team going to Cannes to work during the Festival. Main Duties in London included: • Liaising with leading international agencies; • Managing complex databases with excel and intranet; • Handling crucial information about companies or campaigns – keeping discretion and a very alert eye for detail • Research - authenticity and copyright • Accessing and supervising delicate creative material; filing and cataloguing Main Duties in Cannes included: • Supervising a jury panel formed of internationally renowned Creative Directors throughout long days of voting, assuring all material got assessed in a fair way. • Providing ad-hoc admin assistance to managers • Setting up exhibition of all Promo&Activation shortlisted work
Working directly with the Exhibition Manager for the New York show. Main Duties: • Business Development – creating and editing directories on Excel • Print and Digital Design • Processing text for own or managers signature, Writing reports, formulating mailouts.
