About me
A woman on a mission, Joana Fins Faria is a creative director and artist on a mission to deepen the understanding on human connection, a trailblazer.
After studying Economics in Porto, Marketing in Budapest, Design in San Francisco, she returned to her home country Portugal to deepen her knowledge of interiors and human psychology. Joana now, brings her wide perspective of the world into the knowledge of interiors and human psychology. Her Master of Expressive Arts Therapy from the European Graduate School inspired her to explore a multi-arts approach to build compassionate, culturally-sensitive, and supportive relationships with others.
Joana is passionate about her work of interlinking the human potential with arts, aesthetics, and creativity. She shares in projects her understanding of beauty, arising from “the imperfection, the impermanent, and the incomplete.”. Working on projects of diverse scales, from personal to governmental, Joana leads processes from micro and personal perspective into a macro wide perspective of society. Her focus today is projects that aim to connect the inner creative essence of each human being into his outer mission. Projects which aim an outer and inner essence connection, the so called nowadays as soft skills, the inner power to deal with the unknown in times of change.
