About me
Highly motivated womenswear designer with proven track record designing for major high street brands and online retailers including Lipsy, Miss Selfridge, River Island, ASOS, Jaeger, Next, Marks and Spencer, Very, Amy Childs and Millie Mackintosh, with various press coverage in LOOK and Cosmopolitan UK magazines. Designing across woven and jersey casual, formal, tailoring and going out departments over ten years. With extensive travel experience to Delhi, Mumbai and Hong Kong for factory visits and fabric sourcing, as well as trade show and research trips to Paris, Berlin and Madrid. Through my previous design roles, I have established many good working relationships with fabric agents and trim suppliers which I can bring on board to help further your resources in offering a varied product to your unique customer. I have also worked closely with my pattern cutting, machinist and tech teams, helping to expand my knowledge of product development in these areas. Available with immediate start.     A maternity cover role predominantly holding the Lipsy account across day dresses, separates, partywear, occasion, wholesale and international departments, with styles being included in the Abby Clancy collection. Other customers included ASOS tops, Miss Selfridge separates and petites. Responsible for sourcing new fabrics, prints and trims for my departments, holding meetings with customers along with sales and working with inhouse pattern cutters and machinists to develop samples. Manufacturing out of Romania.
