About me
I’m a 23 year old designer whose passion for design is driven by my curiosity for the world around me. I've studied Graphic design for the past 5+ years, but I also like to illustrate and animate. I currently hold the position of the Creative Editor of the Unsettled Magazine. I'm hardworking, enthusiastic, caring and I completely and utterly love quirky unique and creative things.

  • Upside Down Night Event
Upside Down Night EventBranding, Visuals and Spatial Design for an immersive night experience in London. A magical, creative theme of a parallel universe, the 'Upside Down' version of reality, a unique, fun experience accompanied by alcohol and music. The illusion of a world where fish swim without water, humans fly through the city streets, jellyfish and dinosaurs live next door, creatures and people communicate via dancing and stars and planets float in the sky.
  • Solstice Festival
Solstice FestivalI recently lost my best friend to sudden adult death syndrome. Dealing with the heart-breaking grief, I decided to put all my energy into illustrations and drawings inspired by my friend Iona. This summer I’ve learnt to acknowledge the beauty of life, I decided to look at life as if it was through her eyes, and despite the heartache I decided to explore the country, walk and take in the surroundings, nature and beauty of this world, whilst I can. I decided to create a tribute festival inspired b
  • Bond Symbol Design

  • New Order
New OrderFor this project I was asked to organise, analyse and visualise a selected body of information. I decided to concentrate on a selection of spirit bottles. I began to identify the amount of units specific to each bottle as I believe this is strong way of representing what type of drink it is (types of spirits) and its strength. I then used this data to represent the units specific to each bottle, to represent the number, the distortion and the effects.

  • Packaging Design
Packaging DesignI’ve always been hugely interested in Packaging design. Therefore, in my own time I decided to create boxes with illustrations of the city. Inspiration from Borough and Elephant & Castle of where I’ve previously lived. My initial idea for this was for packaging of London Souvenirs for visitors and tourists.

During the internship I was able to experience working in different ways, I worked on the organisation of Best Brands awards, ranking brands based on a representative empirical study conducted by GFK in several countries measuring the strength of a brand via the actual economic success and the psychological attractiveness of the brand in the perception of consumers, including brands such as Coca-Cola, Tui & Samsung. I was able to dish into animation for the advertisement & social media content for Flandria, enabling me to experience the process behind stop-motion video. Also consisted of design concepts for campaigns for Orange & Stabilo, rebranding for Aiki introducing their newest size pot noodle and website designs for Amplifon. I was able to not only follow the role as a designer, but to observe my colleagues as marketers and strategists. My workplace held many workshops of the different job roles within the studio, allowing everyone in office to be aware of everyone’s responsibilities, encouraging us to understand and work together well as a team. I learnt the importance of strategists and marketers have on a creative brief, how a strategist designs a way to deal with a challenge through analysing information behind a subject, defining direction and creating a strong action plan for the creative.
