Hi, I’m Jody, a photographer and creative director mobilising positive change by supporting and championing people, projects and ideas through impactful visual storytelling!
I grew up on the edge of the city, fields one way, suburbia the other. A scrappy boy from east Bristol, UK, I knew very little about life beyond my home turf while growing up. If you’d have told me back then that today I’d be passionate about mycology, organic growing, food sovereignty and regenerative agriculture, I wouldn’t have believed you. In fact, I wouldn’t have known what on earth you were on about. Like many, I wasn’t exposed to such topics in my youth. Yet I’ve always been innately curious and pretty geeky, obsessively researching things that have piqued my interest. Those things nearly always revolve around the natural world.

In 2012, I teamed up with my partner, Rachel Taylor (Co-founder and editor), to create Another Escape, an outdoor lifestyle, creative culture and sustainable living journal that celebrates the stories of passionate people inspired by nature. We look to capture window’s into the worlds of those who share in our values and whom live close to nature and look to protect it.
