About me

I am a professional photographer / videographer / animator living and working in central London. I am totally in love with the discipline of communicating narrative through the art of lens driven media and I have spent many years enthusiastically exploring this. As well as having a comprehensive grasp of pre-production and production, I also have a diverse set of post-production skills, from video editing, photo manipulation, colour correction and web delivery.   TARA MCPHERSON: THE CONSEQUENCE OF CREATIVITYThe elements that built this shot were taken in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York in February 2015, on presidents day in the wake of the coldest temperatures New York had seen in 50 years. The whole shoot took 15 minutes and was only broken by our assistant director wrapping Tara periodically in her heavy winter coat.
• The Tiled RoomThis was the 2nd image I produced from scratch to contribute to Alan Moore's short story The Possibility of Life on Another World which appeared in issue 6 of his underground magazine Dodgem Logic.
• House on a HillThis is one of the two primary contributions I made to the award winning set of images that accompanied Alan Moore's short story The Possibility of Life on Another World. Over 150 separate photograph elements went into building this shot
• Greg Bird & Flamingo Flame ArtworkI was more than happy to contribute to the artwork of a musical local to the Birmingham music scene called Greg Bird, who's album 'Black Tableaux' needed a dark and mysterious inlay photograph.
• Movie Poster: MELANOCOMEDY PRESENTSMovie posters built and designed for the film 'Between Two Ghosts' by the motion picture collective 'Melancomedy Presents'.

  Music Video: DUTCH UNCLES - IN N OUTOfficial music video for the wonderful band Dutch Uncles for the first single from their album 'O Shudder'. Inspired by film noir lighting and minimalist science fiction B-movies, we observe a lonely traveler suffer through echoes of the past.

I have a degree yes. Is it worth the paper it's printed on? That's a good question. I wouldn't say I regret attending University as I met wonderful people and gained a sense of my own ambition that I may otherwise have misunderstood, but I would say that my experience within the industry first hand, has given me infinitely more understanding of the art and professional delivery of photography, design and video.
