Social Media Manager

I run our online platform where we release podcasts, live sessions and interviews with artists, much in line with our festival curation. This enables us to deliver content and showcase emerging artists year round, not just once a year at the festival. The role requires meticulous organisation along with the ability to deliver creative ideas to be implemented throughout our content stream. My duties include;
• Liaising with artists, managers and producers and confirming podcast sessions
• Coordination of the post-production edits
• Creating interesting content to be delivered in a podcast format
Social Media Manager
I manage the online presence of our digital content. This is created to evoke engagement across multiple platforms and is monitored regularly to maximise interactions. Brand development and awareness are key in the success of this digital channel. We have currently amounted 2.5m views on our channel and aim to grow this with the production of more, regular content.
Music Programmer, A&R Coordinator & Booking Agent

I am responsible for the programming of the festival, alongside a small team of others. The desire to showcase interesting and exciting bands is one of the core values of the festival, and my musical tastes are in line with these principals. I attend multiple gigs on a weekly basis, in order to scope out new bands, as well as attending
industry showcases and A&R events. My other responsibilities include;
• Band budgeting across multiple stages at the festival
• Offering and negotiating performance fees with agents and managers
• Artist contract management between agents, lawyers and the festival
• Advancing the festival for all bands
• Scheduling across both live stages, a silent disco and a spoken word stage
• Tour scheduling, flight, transfers and accommodation arrangement for travelling parties
• Guest list management and band rider provisions
During the festival itself, I work as the Artist Liaison, and have done since 2013. I ensure the bands and DJs are looked after during their time on site and deal with any enquiries. I oversee both stage management teams, ensuring the performances run on time and the transitions between bands on stage are smooth. I oversee a number of other areas at the festival, including a vinyl record store, a vinyl listening area, our acoustic barn sessions and the camping and glamping areas.
Social Media & Marketing Manager
I am responsible for our social engagement across our multiple social media channels. The development of our brand falls within my remit, as well as producing high quality content to be pushed for public interaction. Some other responsibilities include;
• Writing press releases and liaising with publications including TLOBF, Time Out, The Independent, The Guardian etc for online releases
• Creating engaging weekly mail outs to subscribers (MailChimp, YMLP)
• Managing business integration systems such as Slack, Wunderlist and Facebook Ad Manager
• Developing and managing online marketing campaigns and effectively driving brand awareness,
engagement and traffic to various social channels
• Assessing social media marketing strategies for engagement development
Festival Coordinator
My role also allows me to take responsibility for the planning and the logistics of a number of key areas of the festival. These include;
• Managing of our online ticketing platforms (Design My Night, Gigantic)
• Volunteer coordinator of 150+ staff across the festival
• Building relationships with brewers supplying alcohol to the festival
• Toilet, shower and plumbing organisation across the festival site
• Arranging emergency service provisions throughout the festival
• Minibus, plant hire and trader contracting
