I'm co-founder of www.honest-london.com. Honest London is a collaborative online magazine, covering subject matters that provide an insight into London life, through authentic, and quality-driven stories. Our interviewees include David Cross, Ken Livingstone, Stuart Heritage and Laura Dockrill. Our aim is to give an honest portrayal of this city, highlighting interesting subject matters that aren't always addressed but nonetheless warrant a spotlight, via any type of creative medium.
As Programme Curator of Guardian Masterclasses I oversee the commissioning and creation of content. I liaise with tutors and speakers, creating a robust course programme. I identify upcoming subjects and trends, hold weekly interviews with various experts in different fields, turning expert knowledge into successful courses.
At Net-a-Porter, I was Chief Sub-Editor for German content. I managed the launch of the site into three new languages, whilst writing and subbing copy to Net-a- Porter's high standards. I was in charge of all German content produced on product pages, and represented the brand and team at external and internal events and meetings involving stakeholders, executives and external partners.
Working closely with the Features Editor, I generated new ideas, conducted interviews and wrote weekly content for the magazine. I also worked as a sub-editor, editing magazine features, columns, reviews, online and commercial content. Additionally, I wrote and edited 20 chapters for Time Out guidebooks.
As a staff writer at Glamour.com, I sourced and wrote news stories, pitched regular ideas in editorial meetings, and wrote, sourced and built online content and galleries. I was in charge of social media accounts, attended events in order to cover them for the website, and covered Awards Season live.
