• Taking and interpreting design briefs, briefing and overseeing all creative output, project delivery and pitch work. Presenting ideas and pitches both internally and to clients confidently. • Planning studio design schedule, resources, strategy and budgets alongside the wider management team. Sourcing new creative partners, and maintaining working relationships with printers and suppliers, overseeing print production. • Managing and supporting interns and freelance design team to ensure agency standards and processes are maintained, whilst meeting the client brief. • Regularly required to think logically, problem solve and deliver on short deadlines for clients with very specific demands and expectations.
• Worked across digital, print and branding. Led the UX, wireframing and design of ‘Parkinson’s Life’, a web-based magazine which took the original print format and reinvented it for a digital audience, attracting 20,000 new users to the site from 131 counties since launch. • Design lead on multiple publishing projects, including a six-edition event programme for Face Partnership, requiring close client management, art direction, illustration commissioning, and print management within a very tight schedule. • Worked in-line with and interpreted client brand guidelines whilst delivering fresh, engaging and accurate solutions. Part of a successful pitch team for Royal Mail’s annual report, where a new-look design was conceived and reinterpreted for roll-out across print and web whilst adhering to strict new brand guidelines.
