About me
I am a Producer based in London who works with performing arts, digital and visual artists to create work that informs, delights and inspires audiences. I care about work that is vibrant, representative and contemporary. Work that pushes the boundaries of form, blends artforms and provides something new. Work that makes audiences think deeply about important issues, and maybe goes a way to helping them better understand the world around them. I work closely with creatives from idea generation to presentation and am passionate about bringing order to chaos with sensitivity around the creative process. I was born in eSwatini to a Swazi mum and English dad, raised in Derby and, after ping-ponging around the Midlands a bit, now live in London. In 2018, I founded No Stone Theatre with my dear friend and collaborator, Nicholas Pitt. Together, we created the podcast Seeds which was chosen as a podcast pick by Sunday Times and the Guardian. Since starting my career in 2012, I’ve worked with world class organisations including Dance4, Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Arts Council England, the Barbican and the Museum of London. When I’m not producing, you can find me working as Project Coordinator for Culture Mile. I’m very proud to be on Stage One’s Bridge the Gap Programme which was set up to encourage the diversity of Commercial Theatre Producers. I’ve been Treasurer for Foan & Fortune - a lovely female-led theatre puppetry company - since 2019.

  • Becoming Animal by Emilia Robinson & Sidonie Carey-Green
Becoming Animal by Emilia Robinson & Sidonie Carey-GreenBecoming-Animal is a dance film that invites audiences to consider the human condition and the image of humans as cattle within Western society. Dance academics Emilia Robinson and Sidonie Carey-Green use movement to question the power dynamics of human relationships and the slowly decaying connections we have to animals and to nature. The artists use Gilles Deleuze’s descriptive language in the chapter ‘Body, Meat and Spirit: Becoming-Animal’ from the book The Logic of Sensation (2003), alongs
  • The Write to Rave by Debris Stevenson
The Write to Rave by Debris StevensonFollowing her success with Poet in da Corner, Debris Stevenson’s next project is a new immersive experience that explores the radicalism of raving and the politics of a female body dancing alone. It will investigate hybrid artistry and the seam between poetry, theatre, music and movement. The first phase of R&D took place in winter 2019 at Dance4 and Bernie Grant Centre with performances at From the Source Festival, Warwick Arts Centre and London Jazz Festival, Southbank Centre (Serious Record
  • Seeds by No Stone Theatre
Seeds by No Stone TheatreIn March 2020, we were booking dates for a tour of stage play called Seeds of Hope. The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to cancel so instead we chose to use the material we had to adapt it into a podcast series. Seeds is a podcast series based on the incredible true story of the world’s first seed bank. Established in St Petersburg in 1921 by Nikolai Vavilov, it contained vital samples of crops and plants from all over the world to guard against famine and preserve the future of biodiversity. Lis
