I am a Stockholm-based designer, originally from the north of Sweden, who have finally found a place where I want to live and work. I have also succeeded to find a part of the design industry which I really enjoy working in, communication and retail.
Since I started working within retail, I’ve had a steep learning curve and I’ve been able to work both with the physical features of a store, doing everything from complete store concepts to smaller products and displays. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with the more strategic part including looking at shopper journeys and interaction between human and product, which I think is a really interesting part of retail design.
The main reason why I like working in this field is because as a creative I have great possibilities to influence customers, and also because it is a field that is constantly changing in a high speed that forces me to always be one step ahead and keep track of the latest trends in the business.
Organization and empathy are my most important characteristics at work, since they both make me good at planning and prioritizing as well as a good team player who is good at reading people and I think being able to listen is crucial in any relationship.
I thrive in a constantly developing work environment, where I’m allowed to try out new things and where I’m also allowed to fail, because I know I’ll learn something from that too
