About me
Acting currently as a Global Graphic Designer for a Premium British Jewellery Brand I understand the importance of a fast paced creative environment with often extreme deadlines that are needed to be achieved on a regular basis. From large Global campaigns to bespoke individual creatives, I work diligently and efficiently to grasp what the purpose of the creative is and ensure it is met, with a polished and creatively considered artwork that that is relevant and coherent with the Brand.
I have a varied background that has exposed me to numerous elements of Design and Art Direction, that has given me a very eclectic skill set. Being a designer I have a sharp eye for detail (and being a complete maniac when it comes to perfection) I will fully commit my time and efforts to achieving beautifully crafted design that I can stand behind confidently and with pride. With my work I am exposed to a range of different outlets, Print, In store VM, Digital, Social content, E-commerce design and many more. I am confident in working over all platforms and welcome the opportunity to grow and learn further as a designer. I am passionate about my career and do not shy away from any opportunity to expand my technical skill set.
Specialising in Editorial & concept Design since my degree, I enjoy challenging the norm when it comes to design. I am very hands on in my approach at creating work, I don’t shy away from getting stuck in and am confident in translating my ideas from sketches into a fully executed and contextually rich creative. As well as explaining my thought process and working collaboratively with others - it is important to utilise the skills of others in a creative environment as you can feed off one another and collectively achieve and create beautiful design.
I enjoy making work that has meaning and depth, that projects an idea, rather than just having aesthetic value. Striving to be a strong visual storyteller, I deliver layered and considered designs that makes an audience question their usual expectancies of social and cultural understanding - to turn a concept on its head and deliver a new perspective that might not have been originally considered.
Having experience in Branding, I have worked for a number of freelance clients to either help build their brand from the ground upwards, or assist a tired brand that needs re-invention, I jump at the chance to work with a range of clients, to expose my creativity to various aspects and industries, so I can continue to learn and remain culturally relevant.
I believe that great design needs to leave an audience’s jaw dropping, it has to be beautiful, no matter what the brief is, and being classically trained in Art, I strive to combine the two practices (Both Fine art & Graphic design) to create work that is visually compelling to look at, but also serves a purpose/sells an idea.
If you would like to see any of my work, please do not hesitate to contact me and I can send you over my Portfolio (or any physical examples of my work I have been involved with to date), if you wish to see it, or you can call me, I am a social guy so am always up for a chat.
Work history
Senior Graphic DesignerHouse of Hackney
London, United KingdomFull Time
Working currently as Senior Graphic Designer my role consists of working directly with one of the Co-founders and deliver all creative output across the various branches of the business (through Print, Digital, Social, Animation, etc). Leading the Creative Department managing Junior team members as well as external freelance creatives and retouchers to deliver coherent and considered design for the business I understand the importance of working to deadline, creative integrity and delivering product to an audience who is increasingly conscious of consumerism against the environment, and ensuring that a considered purchase is better for all.
House of Hackney is a proud B Corp business, I understand and appreciate the values that businesses hold themselves accountable to do better, to work to a higher standard and deliver not just on creative output - but purpose-driven, though-provoking and industry-changing ideas and concepts too.

Senior Graphic DesignerSignet Jewelers
London, United KingdomFull Time
At Signet, I work exclusively for two of their English titles, Ernest Jones & H.Samuels, creatively evolving both from discount heavy businesses to self supporting and appealing brands that champion beautiful jewellery woth charisma and modern design.
Though I treat both brands very differently creatively, as their customer bases and target markets hit very different spots on the highstreet, alot of the design practices that I introduce to the brands are consistant to ensure delivery of creative is at a strong standard so campaigns and sales can be executed cleanly and efficiently.
My role is cross functional, helping lead up a creative studio team, managing staff, delivery of creative assets, however the largest segment of my role is Art Direction on campaign shoots.
Working with an external agency, the campaign narratives are structured and then delivered to the business for the inhouse studio to then rollout. I work directly with external photographers and agency partners to build both brands independent visions, and slowly turning the tide with the customers to evolve the brands from where they once were.
The role can be challenging due to the business becoming heavily dependent on SALE, and more often then not, there is a power play within the brand between campaign narrative and promotional offer, however its important to balance the two so the customer and the larger business doesn't suffer at mixed and unclear messaging.
