John John Valle was born in London in 1977 and lived in Brazil for several years. After obtaining a Master's degree in Social Anthropology at the University College of London, he moved to NYC were he studied documentary filmmaking at NYU.
Throughout his professional life he has directed, filmed and edited a number of documentaries, TV shows, fashion films and AD campaigns. Just recently, he participated as second unit camera on the Oscar Nominee 2020 documentary The Edge of Democracy. His extensive portfolio has been broadcasted in main Brazilian and international TV channels. Clients include McLaren, Coca Cola, Lancôme, Nike, Yahoo, Adidas, Instagram, Starbucks and Google Android and media such as Brazil's prestigious Piauí magazine, among others.
His breakthrough was his nomination for best documentary at Rio's International Film Festival in 2010 for his feature film 9714-98 Alternative Sentences towards Prison.
In 2016 he directed A Lonely Man's Fight about Brazilian Olympic taekwondo athlete Diogo Silva, commissioned by ESPN Brazil, alongside the renown producer Zé Henrique Fonseca.
For over a year now, living in London, he created content for Working Voices portal directing and editing motivational short films and documentaries.

John John has created and directed movies for Starbucks, Nike, Yahoo, McDonalds, Adidas, Federation of Industries of Rio de Janeiro (FIRJAN), SESI (Serviço Social da Indústria) and SENAI (Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial) LANCÔME, ABSOLUT VODKA, TIM FESTIVAL, BP/CASTROL, ROCK IN RIO, REVISTA MARIE CLAIRE and many other commercial advertisements to state a few such as OLYMPIKUS, LENNY, CANTÃO, OSKLEN, OESTUDIO, RESERVA e MARAMAC.
