Currently engaged in freelance content writing work in the musical instrument industry, I've been active in music journalism for the last 7 years, and an active, recording performer since 1995. In that time I've written for the likes of Astral Noize magazine (reviews/interviews/features/editing), Down The Front Media (reviews), Pure Grain Audio (reviews), Overdrive Magazine (reviews/interviews) and Fortitude Magazine (reviews), continuing to learn as I covered different musical styles and readerships.
I worked on Denmark Street in London for 4 and a half years, gathering information and expertise in guitars, bass, production and effects in both modern and vintage fields, working with everyone from total beginners to celebrities and seasoned pros.
I've presented the drive-time radio show The Way Of Things on Phonic FM in Exeter for the last two years, in addition to The Ricochet, while working part-time to underpin my content writing work.
For the last few months I've been operating Heavy Repping!, a blog/vlog dedicated to guitar picks. This includes a YouTube channel, interviews, reviews, technical information, and a lot of testing and research.
I'm looking for content work in a similar field, though I'm happy to take on whatever you might consider me for.
