About me

My name is John Tupper. My dream has been, and remains, to use animation to make great stories that entertain and perhaps illuminate our relationship to the world we live in. Living in Silicon Valley my professional work has been varied and interesting, from animating high tech manufacturing processes, presentations for the Genome Project, illustrating, for training, the entire process of a root canal, showing NASA Space experiments, to reconstructing how the Great Pyramid was built and even showing trenchless plumbing repair technologies. On the fun side I've done multiple award winning short films and written multiple award winning feature animation screenplays. The adventure is just beginning.

  Product and equipment rendering montageShort compilation of some recent equipment and product rendering and animation projects.
• Pipe Lining Supply "Brush Coating"This was done through Trenchless Marketing, Inc., an agency that specializes in marketing for plumbing companies that do trenchless pipe and sewer repair. The end client was Pipe Lining Supply.
• Phone LoveThis was just a fun little branding 3d animated short featuring two cell phones who find each other. I used the sounds available in the phones themselves.
• Silicon Run Video SeriesSilicon Run is a video series that details the various production processes that power today's technology. I did the animation for the series. Here's and example
• Desert Rat: Duster's BreakfastThis is a personal project I did as a teaser for an animated feature film I wrote titled, "Desert Rat."
• The Great Pyramid; How it was Built - The Inset RampMany theories have been presented on how the Great Pyramid of Egypt was built. Each has it's problems. An Architect hired me to animate his new theory of how it was done.
