Experienced delivery focused Technical Product Owner, with DevSecOps mindset and 10 years of working in software development. Scoping and working with development teams on everything from big data streaming platforms, white-label mobile apps for use a on a global scale (10m+ active users) and everything in between.
Highly skilled in Stakeholder Management and AGILE methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, FDD etc). I love working with architects, engineers (both dev and test) and can easily embed myself and build relationships within your team adding instant value. I have worked with distributed and remote teams professionally and successfully in Eastern Europe, Spain, India and the UK.
I actively participate in all the Sprint ceremonies (Daily Stand up, Refinement, Planning, Retro & Demo) and the development of Sprints to ensure the success of the team. As Product Owner I am actively engaged in defining and managing action items, identifying issues and risks, adjusting scope and identifying tasks necessary to complete planned work. I can also act as Scrum Master if required.
Product backlogs are quickly built in a logical and organised manner. All User Stories written plain in English along with Acceptance Criteria using INVEST principle and BDD (Gherkin/Cucumber) respectively. I understand the need for good quality documentation for both requirements and code; making this part of product delivery.
Good technical knowledge of Mobile & Web Applications inc. SDK's, API and Cloud Infrastructure. Understands Architectural styles including service meshes, event streaming, microservices, monoliths, MVC, MVVM, serverless etc. Excellent comprehension of REST, HTTP, MQTT and many other protocols.
I am familiar with products such as Jira, Confluence, Balsamiq, Zeplin, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Solace, AWS (Cognito, CloudFormation, Lambda, Edge etc), Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana and many many more. I am AWS Cloud Practitioner Certified.
