Projects
- Writing & EditngI edited the T in the Park's official guide and also contributed several pieces to the V programme, including a chat with Tom Jones that was one of my all time favourite interviews. Not everyone can tell you about what it was like to "have a night on the turps with Frank Sinatra". I also wrote a string of features for Vegetarian Living magazine.
- Sky NewsI managed Sky News' entertainment coverage across all of its platforms, overseeing the team of journalists covering all areas of the arts and entertainment world. I supervised coverage of the biggest events in the showbusiness calendar, producing events like the Oscars, Cannes, Glastonbury, the Brits and Baftas. I also delivered a string of exclusive stories and interviews, including breaking the news that Michael Jackson was planning to perform at the O2 and Liam Gallagher's first UK interview after the Oasis split.
- Channel 4 'Alternative Christmas Message'I spent a fascinating year freelancing, enjoying the variety and challenges of a portfolio career. One highight was working with the genuinely cutting edge production company Lemonade Money, writing the Alternative Christmas Message which they filmed for Channel 4.
- Jameson Empire Film Awards 2013The six person Getty team put together this highlights package of the Jameson Empire Film Awards 2013 within two and a half hours of the conclusion of the event. We were commissioned by MC Saatchi with the brief being that they wanted the material to be delivered as quickly as possible but with production values that reflected the glamour of the event.

I've been freelancing for the last year. I've worked in location management, planning and overseeing shoots for companies including Scottish Widows and Mentos, and written for national papers. I've continued to work in production and also worked as a consultant on PR campaigns and media strategy.

Head of Getty’s video department, managing an editorial entertainment news service and the agency’s in-house crew work across Europe.
The position involves producing a string of paid assignments for corporate clients, including Vodafone, Selfridges, the Dorchester Group, Freud’s and Lady Gaga.
Increased sales across video by 80pc in my first three months in the role while driving down sales and attracting new clients. Sales went onto grow by over 140pc after a year.
