Edited Sky News' entertainment coverage across all of its platforms - TV, radio, online. Managed Sky’s teams at all of the biggest entertainment events globally, including the Oscars, Cannes, Glastonbury, the Brits and Bafta ceremonies. Headed Sky’s deal with IRN to provide news to all major UK commercial radio stations. Key achievements included massively increasing the output and profile of Sky News's entertainment team. The department delivered far more exclusive stories, which were followed up by competitors around the world, and secured a string of interviews with the biggest names in music, film and theatre.
Initially managed input team of ITV News’ RTS award winning rolling news channel. The multi-faceted role entailed managing a team of guest bookers, working as a field producer and delivering one off special programmes to the tightest of deadlines/budgets.
