Hi, Jon here and I am a photographer based in East London with my own studio. I love what I do, and I offer a simple and creative approach. Think less retouching, more story-telling in it's raw format. I work without any fuss and I am always on the end of a phone. I love creative emotional editorial projects to working also on my classic headshot work. I love to test with lighting and techniques in my downtime and i'm always looking to work with new people.
Projects
- Headshots, but a bit different....I love taking headshots, I work from my own studio In Leyton in East London (hello central line) and have some great contacts in case makeup is required. I offer a super relaxed 3 hour session with a very quick turnaround on images. It's not a fussy process and you're always in control, it's your image at the end of the day.
- Roots and GrainsI was recently commissioned by new company Roots and Grains, to do a shoot for their plant-based convenience food - Vegan Burgers. After an initial chat we decided it would be most cost effective to shoot in my studio. I walked them through the trials and tribulations of a food shoot, we set a date and they went shopping. The shots are below and the burgers taste as good as they look.
- Standstill short filmIt was a real pleasure doing the unit stills on Standstill, such an amazing cast and crew. A film about the darkness of postnatal depression told in a beautiful way. The few (around 10) have been balanced/graded in line with the feel of the film, then we move into onset stills of cast a crew. A small selection from a fantastic few days.
