About me
I have worked in the learning and development sector providing clients with management and leadership training since leaving university. I have had roles in telesales, business development, client management and coaching. In 2009 I set up Development Group International with 3 friends, our mission was to "Improve the Health of Individuals and Organisations" by designing and delivering training that made a difference to how people turned up at work. Fundamentally we want to help people be happy, and that very much stands today.
Business development and networking are core parts of my role and I have enjoyed success with key clients such as HSBC, Hitachi, Nestlé, AON Benfield, Lloyds Banking Group, BUPA International, Brit Insurance, CV Starr & Co, Computacenter and eBay.
I love coaching and undertake a small number of coaching assignments per year. I would like to do more!
Working to live is key and therefore getting the work life balance is important. 10 years ago, my wife Jayne and I made the jump and decided to split our time between the French Alps and the UK. We now spend up to 7 months of the year "working" from Chamonix which feeds our creativity, inspiration and keeps the passion for what I do strong. I often use this mix of life experiences to help keep DGI interesting.
