Social Media Manager & Visual Design
- Owner of all aspects of Social Media including creating and
delivering content and marketing campaigns to grow new
audiences as well as engaging existing audience with product
launches to drive sales and build the user base.
- Designed and implemented company’s first Social Media
strategy, following which I grew Social Media audiences to
14k Twitter 32k Facebook and increased conversation,
applause and amplification rates across all channels.
- Created from scratch and now manage Social Media
content calendar to ensure consistent, planned and fresh
content which supports wider company initiatives.
- Employ analytics to monitor content performance to inform
future marketing decisions and ensure sustained growth.
- Implemented and operate software to manage, schedule
and report on Social Media channels including Spredfast,
Hootsuite, Tweetdeck & True Social Metrics.
- Responsible for implementing Mendeley’s visual brand
across the company, creating design assets, themes and a
content style guide and having final sign off on any
marketing materials.
- Design and project manage the production and distribution
of all Mendeley merchandise to over 450 events worldwide
each year, managing a distribution team and budget.
- Formulated and delivered several innovative marketing
campaigns utilising a body of 4000 Brand Ambassadors to
build a worldwide community. Responsible for idea creation,
time management, execution and analysis.
- Project manage Mendeley partnerships with Pint Of
Science, NASA, Harvard University and Research4Life (an
academic sustainability project).
Digital Marketing Manager

- Worked within small startup company, liaising directly with CEO and COO to implement strategy through the management of a marketing team of 3. - Took key role in developing Live&Loud, an online music booking service from conceptual phase, through testing, soft launch, and onto roll out across the UK.
- Booked and promoted 400+ concerts throughout the UK, designed promotional materials, online marketing campaigns and purchased radio and print adverts through the likes of NME and XFM.
- Managed all email marketing campaigns through Mailchimp to grow userbase. Implemented responsive templates to increase conversions through mobile devices and tablets. Achieved a 63.3% open rate and 24.8% click through rate on 15,000+ subscriber lists using an analytical A/B testing approach.
- Designed and implemented Social Media marketing campaigns, achieving a cost per conversion of £0.67 following A/B testing, consequently growing the Live&Loud user base by 200%.
