As a senior part of the Conservatives digital team, I was responsible for the Prime Minister and Conservative Party’s digital communications. My role led on content strategy & production, creative strategy, social communications and political messaging. As part of a small team, my role was incredibly varied - where my responsibilities were both strategic; involving the ideation of online content, planning digital strategy around the government grid and political events, leading on branding and art direction, managing freelancers and agencies - and hands on; copywriting for social campaigns, scripting and producing the Prime Minister’s TV broadcasts, producing political attack adverts and following the Prime Minister and other Conservative Ministers to produce photo and video content. As you can imagine, with work that was so varied and high-profile, I have experience and a skill-set the likes of which aren’t attained anywhere else.
