About me

THIS IS ME: I am a skilled and highly experienced music industry researcher, consultant and project manager with an extensive music industry background. I founded ThinkMusic (2018), to use my extensive industry knowledge, research and critical thinking skills to deliver innovative, impactful projects and actionable research to inform clients’ strategic decision-making. I scope, devise, manage and deliver projects on behalf of clients with experience in identifying and managing interdisciplinary research teams drawn from my extensive network of skilled associates across industry and academia for clients including GLA/ Mayor of London and British Council. BACKGROUND I’ve travelled an interesting and varied path, starting out as a conservatoire trained musician, later developing a parallel career representing composers for film and TV. I became programme director of MusicTank, a university-owned music business think tank, gaining extensive experience in university-led knowledge exchange and collaboration, contract research, academic publishing and B2B conference and seminar production.
