- Feature: Only in TokyoAlong with photographer Jonathan Stokes, I spent a week in Tokyo seeking out the most uniques experiences we could find, the ones that can only have originated and thrived in that city. I spent quite a lot of that time swinging between feelings of total bafflement and complete delight. For the layout, we decided to mimic something of the style of manga cartoons to try and convey the craziness of the whole experience. Layout by Hayley Ward.
- Feature: Polar Night in the ArcticI'm constantly drawn to the untold or misunderstood stories of a place, and to locations where life is lived very differently to my own in London. For this feature for Lonely Planet magazine, that meant travelling to the far northern reaches of Sweden in December – a time when the sun doesn't rise at all – and finding out how the locals get through the long winter. As you can see, a lack of sun doesn't mean that the region is drained of colour - quite the opposite. Images by Jon Stokes; layout
