Birmingham based Shooting PD/ Video Editor with both broadcast PD and Offline Editing credits. Experience in various formats, but in particular, Fact Ent, Documentary and Short-Form content. I'm a confident shooter having worked with Sony FS7's, FS5's, Canon C300's, C100's, DSLRs and Amiras. I'm comfortable shooting on location, as well as in controlled, studio environments. I enjoy writing scripts, working with contributors and making content with storytelling at its heart.
I have experience working with new and established talent, as well as with contributors. Whether that be tackling sensitive subject matters or more relaxed set-ups (Vox Pops, IV's, VTs). I would like to work with new teams and establish myself as a safe pair of hands on the circuit.
I have a lot of experience in the edit, which has benefitted me greatly. Not only in my overall approach but also as a professional; able to contribute at different stages of a project. I am proficient in multiple NLE's (Avid, Adobe Premiere, FCPX and Davinci Resolve) as well other Adobe suite applications such as Audition, Photoshop and basic After Effects. I have experience developing concepts, creating storyboards, finding locations, managing talent, setting up shoots and am genuinely up for being as involved as possible when working on different projects.
