Project Management • Working extensively in programming at a theatre, running a space and liasing with different departments. • Experience managing annual budgets and individual projects. as well as fundraising alongside effectively managing cash flow for a business. • Management experience, dealing with both clients and employees. • Experience running my own company. This meant dealing with all aspects of production, management and budgeting. • Working in an arts-based organisation, creating spread sheets for budgeting and timetabling a full workforce. Leadership • Leading an organization, making effective decisions about its future. • Dealing with contracts and selling shows to a wide variety of organisations. • Managing other experienced workers, using their time effectively. • Creating success, both crucial and commercial with profits of over £50k. • Managing and leading large groups of people, making artistic and practical decisions. Creative Skills • Directorial work in theatre, from assistant to directorial lead across several leading organizations, including the Old Vic, Young Vic and Almedia. • Developing awarding winning work across the sector, that has been featured on the BBC and in several national publications like the Guardian and the Mirror. • Designing innovative marketing campaigns for productions, including both artistic design, guerrilla marketing and performance work. Production • Producing work, predominantly at Edinburgh Fringe. Managing budgets, organising arts industry contacts and negotiating contracts. • A strong working knowledge of the theatre industry, with special experience working with young companies and providing support to take work to the Edinburgh fringe festival. • Fundraising experience with over £70k raised across various projects, including programs of new work and capital costs for buildings
