Assisting the Marketing Executive in the execution of the brand’s regional marketing plans, generating awareness and trial. Managing and implementing all operational aspects of the Heart and Capital Radio promotional teams. Managing teams activity including Sponsorship, Partnerships and Interactive activation and supporting the South Coast marketing department with administrative tasks including: Recruitment, Induction & training, Planning and executing activity Briefing street teams, Health and Safety, Wages & budgeting, Team motivation, Communications. All under the overall project leadership and direction of the Marketing executive.
As a member of the Birmingham Wings Team, I help promote and push the Red Bull Brand both online and offline. Working at the centre of the company’s marketing division, driving product trials and building brand loyalty, outreaching to new and current users. I am responsible for creating “missions” which are to cater to the individual, in order to build the love for the brand and providing consumer feedback reports for the rest of the marketing team. In addition I have taken on various roles such as Artist Liaison and Hostess working at numerous Red Bull events such as Nottingham Carnival and Canvas Cooler Exhibition.
I was part of a small film crew filming coverage for Global Gathering festival. My role involved liaising with artists and festival goers to film interviews and vox pop. I was also involved with the post-production editing footage into a 4 minute highlights video, which was used to begin the campaign for the 2013 run of the festival.
On an ad-hoc basis I helped to promote the Wax:On and Metropolis brands. Offline marketing required me to do flyering and display posters throughout the City of Birmingham, supporting the company’s major events. Digital marketing required me to use my Facebook profile to share and invite friends to events, share Wax:On and Metropolis news and post information on local forums, university pages, local promoters and nightclubs and other sources which would benefit from the brands.
Studied Events and Exhibitions, Music Programming, Music and Television Promtion, Music Business, Film Cultures, Radio Production and Television Production. Was a member of the Student Radio station, Scratch Radio, and Events and Socials secretary for the RAG society. Where I managed the 2014 Atlas Mountains expedition team. In my final year I teamed up with 4 other students to launch an online music channel, Gibbon Media. Where we filmed and showcased local music talent from the West Midlands.
