About me
Hey I'm Jordan ...and welcome to my little slice of the internet! As you have clicked on this page I assume you want to know a bit about me, so who am I? I'm a Scottish Creative Events Management student at Falmouth University, owner of JLow Lettering Co and serial perfectionist. I've spent the last 12 years enhancing my packing skills as my family and I have lived and travelled around the world, therefore I thrive in a fast paced and diverse working environment. I have gained valuable experience in events across many industries and sectors and as an events professional I find myself showcasing strong creative and critical thinking skills. Now that you know everything "about me" this page has fulfilled it's purpose. Click the website link to find out why I would be the right addition to your team. There is plenty more for you to find out about me and my experiences.

Whilst studying Creative Events Management BA (Hons), I was also gaining work experience with luxury wedding and event planner Jenny Wren and wedding venue consultants Hazel Parsons and Rebecca Edwards. From WedMeetUp events, wedding styled shoots and wedding shows, I was continuously asked to create and design chalkboard, mirror and table signage. During this time I also received my first paid job from Jenny from a London bride and groom's save the date envelopes. Thrilled with my work and guest responses, the bride requested additional envelopes for their invites as well as the personalisation of handpicked pebbles for table place names. In September 2019, I made the decision to set up 'JLow Lettering Co' to showcase the copious amount of photos I had of my work from these events and wedding clients. As my work continued to improve I found myself with a small business growing and receiving wonderful projects for all occasions. As an event assistant I played an integral role in the successful delivery of CRUK events across Scotland and Northern Ireland. With specific event delivery training I gained experience in course, start, finish, stage and volunteer management. Working with a dedicated team across the country I helped deliver inspiring fundraising events for cancer patients, survivors and anyone who has been touched by cancer. Events - Hopetoun House | 5K/10K - 12/05/19 - Glasgow Green | 5K/10K - 19/05/19 - Irvine Beach | 5K/10K - 12/06/19 - Fife | PrettyMuddy - 15/06/19 - Belfast | PrettyMuddy - 07/09/19 - Royal Highland Centre | PrettyMuddy - 14/09/19

AGF is dedicated to helping events and the live sector to improve sustainability. The two week online training course focuses on key operational issues of events which create an impact on the environment. The training offered a wealth of material covering sustainability issues and solutions. I thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity to improve my understanding of events sustainability.

I undertook counter terrorism training which helps people better understand and mitigate against current terrorism methodology. The interactive course included 7 modules which focused on identifying and responding to suspicious behaviour/items as well as how to respond to a bomb threat or weapons attack.
