I have recently completed a Graphic Branding and Identity B.A at London College of Communication and II am now looking to work in a fast paced agency, where I will be given the chance to work collaboratively as well as individually to continue to develop as a designer.
I have some industry experience including last summer working at a digital agency: Me:Mo where my role was to work along side their content director and lead designer to create content for events and social media for a range of their clients whom were predominately restaurants. As well as the summer before that, I spent 3 months working at Daniel Department store in Windsor as their sole graphic designer. Working in-house, in a very small team was a fantastic experience as I was given a lot of responsibility which helped me quickly progress in confidence. However I'm now looking to work in a fast paced agency, where I will be given the chance to work collaboratively as well as individually.
Since these two brief ventures into industry my final year has pushed me to think in a far more conceptual and strategic way with the use of the Design Thinking methodology. This is partly down to the guidance of art directors from both Landor Associates and Radley Yeldar (Damo & Graeme) whom set us briefs. Both agencies cemented my belief that the value of an outcome is within the idea which will then give substance to the visual aesthetics. Therefore although I consider myself to be a designer however I now make sure that I have implemented creative strategy to all of my work.
Im confident in the majority of the Adobe Suite on both Mac and Windows as well as having some knowledge in Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, HTML and CSS. Due to various freelance ventures whilst studying I am confident with working to strict deadlines and comfortable with the added pressure this may create.
