My name’s Joseph Knight, I’m 25 and I am a recent graduate from London College of Communication: Television and Live Events in which I received a 2.1. I took some time to live abroad and to work at a family run interior design business before heading into further education. During my time at ‘Imagine Interiors’ I developed various skills, specifically the ability to work to deadlines and also how to fit into a creative team. Returning to education enabled me to further existing skills. Namely working from creative briefs, collaboration, becoming an effective communicator and becoming multi-disciplinary practitioner. In my spare time I have directed a few short-films both on location and on set. Working with skeleton crews I have became familiar with arranging props and transporting kit safely etc. I also undertook an internship at the events company ‘The Halo Group’ during my time at LCC. My time was divided being on site, assisting with installs and the general support required in running of live events. My time spent in the office was used sourcing, manning the phones, creating databases, creating mood boards to name a few. On a freelance basis I have worked on a variety of different projects over the last years including: working as art department for an upcoming British film; set dresser at Selfridges; carpenter and as an actor and background artist. I feel these jobs demonstrate my passion and experience within some of the creative industries and possibly that I’m an ideal candidate for this role.Locked Pro Plan feature
