Work history

Visual Merchandiser

Jul 2015
  • As a window dresser for Barnado's I frequently liaise with the staff to design and dress their shop window. We often theme the windows to current events and holidays and use props and clothing which has been donated to the shop to create an interesting and engaging finished storefront which draws in potential customers.

Set Dresser

Aug 2013 - Mar 2016
  • My job as a set dresser at QVC required me to dress the backgrounds of the sets used and provide the furniture and set ups needed for shows. I worked closely with a team of floor assistants to create a space for each hour long show which had the correct aesthetic and feel for the product being sold. As I was working in live television, I have been able to perfect my ability to work under pressure and plan each ten hour shift as soon as I started in order to have each show set up with ample time for the client to view the set and add in any finishing touches or products needed.
