Freelance set and costume designer/dresser specialising in set dressing for live television, interactive and immersive theatre productions and visual merchandising.
Studied in the first year of a BA (Hons) in Costume Design and Production at Yorkshire Coast College and the second and third years of a BA (Hons) in Theatre Design at Rose Bruford College.
Invested designer, avid writer, novice photographer.
Projects
- Set Dresser at QVCMy job as a set dresser at QVC required me to both dress the backgrounds of the sets used, and also provide the furniture and set ups needed for shows. I worked closely with a team of floor assistants to create a space for each hour long show which had the correct aesthetic and feel for the product being sold. As I was working in live television, I have been able to perfect my ability to work under pressure and learned to plan each ten hour shift as soon as I started in order to have each show s
- Visual Merchandiser - Barnado'sAs a window dresser for Barnado's I frequently liaise with the staff to design and dress their shop window. We often theme the windows to current events and holidays and use props and clothing which has been donated to the shop to create an interesting and engaging finished storefront which draws in potential customers.
- Set Stylist/Assistant - Matthew Calvin LtdThe job involves collaborating with the designer to help display his jewellery at trade shows to the highest standard. I have helped Matthew to get the best out of his stand at shows in both London and Paris, creating a modern and stylish set up which maximises the products potential.

Visual Merchandiser
As a window dresser for Barnado's I frequently liaise with the staff to design and dress their shop window. We often theme the windows to current events and holidays and use props and clothing which has been donated to the shop to create an interesting and engaging finished storefront which draws in potential customers.

The job involves collaborating with the designer to help display his jewellery at trade shows to the highest standard. I have helped Matthew to get the best out of his stand at shows in both London and Paris, creating a modern and stylish set up which maximises the products potential.
