As a senior designer and a key member of the Där design team, I contributed to making Där one of the UK's leading suppliers of innovative & quality lighting. In this role I am able to create the very latest designs using materials and technologies from across the globe to create designs that push the boundaries of exciting lighting products in a fast-evolving industry. I work very closely with clients from the UK, Europe and USA including John Lewis, Laura Ashley, Habitat, Soho House, Anthropologie (US), Debenhams and El Corte Ingles (Spain). Frequently travelling to the far-east, I have created close working relationships with our manufacturers, whilst also working closely alongside clients to get the best out of my designs from concept to a merchandised product. I work directly with many top high-street retailers, as well as the Där Catalogue brand (for independent lighting stores), and also work with the premium brand David Hunt. I have achieved increasing seasonal selections and forged long lasting relationships with valuable clients.

I was a leading member of the Poole lighting design team and designed products for the UK & European lighting markets. I was successful as head designer for the John Lewis account for over 3 years, growing the business year on year and worked closely with many well-known clients including John Lewis, B&Q, Laura Ashley, BHS, Wickes DIY and Castorama (EU). I was fully conversant with the procurement process and adept at presentations for new product pitches to new clients. My job role included being team leader, planning design based strategy, project and account managing and also developing designs to the latest trends and technologies. I worked closely with Far East factories, frequently visited with clients and also visited international design exhibitions, where my designs where presented.
