24 year old freemotion embroidery designer-maker. Utilising this beautiful, intricate medium to bring a contemporary edge, with a sense of permanence and delicacy. Heavily inspired by traditional Western tattoo flash, kitsch imagery and the feminist ethos.

    Phiney Studio: Hair ClipsTapping into the youth core niche that is emerging as lockdown spirits demand to be lifted - I created this ongoing collection of clips with the intention to bring some fun and colour to lockdown buns. Roots are only growing out and so these clips serve as detailed and deliciously coloured distractions for all hairstyles. It is commonly accepted that tying our hair back every day causes damage, and so I sought to rectify this by created lush sateen scrunchies that keep hair back in a soft mann

    OWN YOUR JUICY: Juicy Couture A/W'17 Campaign CommissionAfter having upcycled a bootleg tracksuit from eBay.. it was incredible to be asked to refine and stitch [and stitch] the real deal. My tracksuit embellishments are inspired by traditional Western tattoo flash and kitsch magic.

    A year of experimentation, while also managing a tattoo shop. Merged the two together through my FMP which consisted of Western tattooing's history - all through stitch and embroidery. Final collection resulted in a series of stylised patches and a stitched reproduction of an Illustrated Woman circus poster.
