About me
Over the last 5 years, I have built a multi-disciplinary portfolio of works that range from digital and print design, music, theatre and other entertainment industries. However, I am currently interested in following a passion in immersive performance, specifically in the live music and festival sector. Previous creative works I have explored, involve critical, communication and campaign design with a variety of physical and digital mediums. Specifically, I am keen to explore the relationship that manifests between fandoms and artists. Previously, I curated a project named “Connecting the Fan.” It was a speculative project, that consisted of multiple design disciplines and was accompanied by an academic piece entitled “The identity of a fan: A speculative reflection upon the nature of the fan and the changing contexts that bounds the relationship between artist, and fan.” Being emerged amongst a fandom’s shared environment, witnessing behaviour and influences is part of the human condition that I find most interesting. Previously I’ve worked on briefs such as the following: 1. How might I celebrate feeling overwhelmed? Studying my creative process, and delivering a response. 2. How might I challenge tacit homophobia? A creative campaign meant to raise awareness and further tackle the issue of homophobia. This time, with an explicit tone of voice and visuals. 3. How might I comprehend 140,000,000 births in 2019? Curate a design response based on a statistic. 4. Brand development for the English and Writing Department of Falmouth University. Awakening a critical consciousness. During my time studying BA Music, Theatre & Entertainment Management, I also worked on multiple projects such as: - Designing a business plan the consists of a wellbeing agency aimed towards the touring musician and festival season. - A release proposal of a Charles Manson’s “LIE: The Love & Terror Cult” cover album. To be part of a collector’s item, as 2019 witnessed the 50th anniversary of the Tate & LiBianca murders. The proposal included considerations towards royalty distribution, planning, analytical tools and marketing, including a merchandise that partnered with The Great Frog, London. - The opportunity to work, arrange and help produce gigs and theatre performances. - A lot of marketing plans, a range of cultural studies and reflective practices.
