- Ice Cold Gig 2016 I was fortuante enough to be part of the Jägermeister marketing team when they pulled off their most elaborate PR stunt to date. It involved Bullet for my Valentine frontman Matt Tuck performing the first ever gig on land, sea and air, all in ice cold conditions to promote the perfect Jägermeister serve at -18c. I sat in on the various meetings leading up to the event, which involved liasing with the production companies and the PR agencies that worked with both Jägermeister and the band. I completed several administrative tasks, such as making sure branded clothing was ready for the event and participants were given their own personalised bottle of Jägermeister. To celebrate the release of the full documentary video, we set up an event at the Forge in Camden for an exclusive screening. Those attending included the stars of the film, including Matt Tuck himself, as well as the production team and some competition winners. We all sat in the private cinema area, with Jägermeister flavoured popcorn, cocktails and canapes to look on at the stunning scenes that were captured on the incredibly impressive event.

Whilst looking for a permanent role, I worked on the Honda account at Karmarama on a freelance basis. During my time, I managed the Dealer Marketing Centre, which acts as the first port of call for marketing requests from Honda dealers throughout the UK, ranging from press adverts to showroom POS.

As part of my course, I was offered the chance to take a year work placement. I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to work for Jägermeister for the year.
I undertook a role within the Marketing department, where I was given first hand experience of the marketing industry in an exciting brand that continues to grow. I gained exposure to a number of marketing elements and given the freedom to explore the areas that benefitted my studies.
