As an A&R admin the position gave me the opportunity to experience the music industry first hand, allowing me to input my knowledge, opinions and creativity daily. I handled regular telephone calls and emails; I also processed invoices via universals payment system Uniport that I was very proud of. I was responsible for making sure travel and accommodation was booked for our artists and also stayed on top of chart stats and patterns. I really honed my communication skills not only internally but also externally, speaking to Artist Managers, regularly attending EP Launches and speaking with Artists helped my confidence being vocal in different environments.
