Joshua Rice is an illustrator and designer based in London, UK.
His graphic, colourful work has been shortlisted for industry awards, as well as being exhibited in the London Transport Museum. He counts the outdoors, his children, old things and his local neighbourhood as sources of inspiration.
Josh's clients have included Historic Royal Palaces, Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery, Explorer HQ and National Parks UK. He's also illustrated the forthcoming 100 Ways To Save The Planet (Button Books) due out October 2024.
He is currently taking on illustration projects of all kinds, with particular interest in working with clients pursuing educational and public engagement aims. Josh has collaborated with many cultural, heritage and arts organisations as part of his wider freelance design practice, finding creative ways to help audiences learn and participate.
Originally from Ontario, Canada, Josh trained as a historian before moving to London almost 20 years ago. Today, he works from his home studio in Hanwell, west London, where he lives with his wife and two boys.
