My name is Joshua Ward and I’m a 26 year old multi disciplinary artist and creative currently living and working as a senior creative assistant in London.
As an artist, my practice focuses on a number of themes stemming from my exposure to post industrial landscapes as a young child growing up on merseyside in an old glass and coal town. I primarily use analogue technology, found materials and hands on techniques in oder to create an aesthetic which references post industrial spaces and the people who lived and worked in them.
This love of art led me to take up art in all levels of higher eduction, which eventually culminated in my achieving a 2:1 in BA Fine Art at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Since graduating from Goldsmiths in 2018 I have undertaken an number of roles within the art sector, roles such as: Graphic Designer, Photographer, Digital Marketer, Social Media Content Creator and Manager, as well as my current role of Senior Creative Assistant. These roles have been with a number of companies in a number of fields such as: Jewellery Designers featured in Vogue and The New York Times, Restaurants and a Luxury Art House specialising in the customisation of luxury items from luxury fashion houses such as Gucci and Hermes who have collaborated with Harrods during my time there.

Projects
- PondarosaI, along with my brother, have been working in our collective as a creative team for up and coming manchester band Pondarosa. In this role we have created works such as the band logo, single artwork, gig posters and even conducted promotional photoshoots both in and out of the studio. The assets we have created have then gone on to be used on all the bands social channels and even spotify.
- Freelance Digital Marketing Assitant/Photographer at Motley LondonWorked as part of the marketing department at jewellery brand Motley London – In this role I helped to create visual assets such as GIFs, the brands signature ‘art attacks’ and I have shot numerous campaigns such ‘Women at Work’ and ‘What Motleys Wearing’ as well as going out to their jewellery designers studios to shoot behind the scenes photography of the design processes.
